That was a blast

What was the subject ?

Novels (Le roman). We had a corpus including an extract from "Une vie" (Guy de Maupassant), another one from "Le père Goriot" (Balzac) and then something off "Madame Bovary" (Flaubert). The questions were: "what scenes do those text present", and "what descriptive elements are used to make those sound real". Then we had three writing works, of which I chose the invention subject where you had to write a newspaper article dealing with why people still read novels that where written in the past centuries.

Ok, always the same subjets, always the same books.

Yeah... they could use Lee's spam poetry book, now that would be something interesting to analyze

No I won't, cause the days they'll happen, my school has organized a geology day where we go in the Ardennes to study rocks (exciting isn't it), and it isn't cancelled, so I won't be able to go.
