New boarders don't even know who is jico, I think.
Yeah, zooTycoon is a good idea.
concerning the Sims, be careful, there're a lot of add-ons, you have to take the original one ( Sims 2).

Theresa Duncan made a bunch of video games specifically for girls. she was so kool.

yeah! the guy releases a free game every month, some of them are real gems but that one is tooooo coool!
search for Phun in google to get a more "serious" experimental thing with physics.
There's also a site with added levels for crayon physics, but I can't find the link now...

I don't know if a little girl will like it but Portal is fun as hell. Minimal violence, intellectually challenging. Might be a little too complex if she is too young.
