you kinda talk like andrew wk, well type like andrew wk, super positive and enthusiastic, its refreshing considering the rest of us are al jaded and pissed off. |
mmmmmmmmmmm yeah
i was being sarcastic actually like " I've never seen anything quite like this before, is this ... a joke?" anyways it was kind of funny starting with Pavement and ending with hyperdoomnoise with people screaming in megaphones with their penis plugged to some kind of hyper proco rat or whichever distortion unit.... he he i'm not that candid |
all things considered
sarcastic or not that's what i call POWERFUL more powerful than some twat sitting behind a mac with MAX turned on although i do like fennesz and that i was just blown away by such a level of craziness i've seen OXES live they were crazy and naked at the end of the show but THAT is über - whatever, if not over the top thought it was worth mentioning thx anyway u made my day i discovered a couple of things thanx to u. |

wow man:eek: i think too much lo-fi kills lo-fi i like my sentridoh, but i checked all these bands and well mmm can't get into it; although i didn't know Ibold played in this band Times new viking . Cheers for recommendations anyway, that's kind.:D |
I don't understand why Mark Ibold is not on the video. And I didn't find any mention of his involvement on the Matador website ( maybe I read it too fast).
|
he's part of the line-up on the myspace though
i think it sounds very amateur / youngish / not mature as compared to what Pavement did even at the beginning weird for old Ibold |
head banging to sustained noise
ok |

Ibold isn't in Times New Viking and neither are the other members that are mentioned on their myspace (Brix E. Smith, Hamish Kilgour...) As for Crushed Pubic Lice, they're way too kool for myspace. In fact, they're so kool and new that nobody has even heard them yet. People only know about them from hearsay. |
