if i had to make a list of ALL bands i've seen it would consist of hundreds of names, if not over a thousand. just in the first five months of 2008 so far i must've seen about 70 (international) bands/artists already, including festivals and support acts, etc.

Cantankerous 05.29.2008 08:40 AM

i was young and foolish. support acts were the cult and soul asylum.

most kids in my class weren't allowed to go by their parents (it was 2-3 hours away by train), but my mom was the coolest so i went together with a friend.

hahahahahaha.

i wanted to go and mom tried to get me tickets but, and this is when ticketmaster started here, the lines where blocked from people buying them and when she finally got an answer, the show was sold out.

a few years later i thought that perhaps it was for the better, i'd hate to see them with chicks singing backups and the three hour solos in between songs.
