You liked Edwards i take it.
It was only a matter of time til he takes the nomination. But frankly im beginning to see McCain as someone whos gonna have to distance himself from the Bush administration so much that hes gonna hit the centre ground with Obama, theyre having a problem with McCain for not being a real Conservative arent they?

I might have to vote for Nader.

Ron Paul would like that.

I can talk about who I want, when I want. & I didn't go off on a Ron Paul rant, someone spoke of the republican party, & I expressed my opinion on the candidates. Which is basically what this whole thing is about. So stop cherry picking my comments, & go vote for Barack (CFR trash). I'm sure things will "change" immediately.

Well, as for Obama. There will be NO change, at ANY time w/ him. You may ask yrself, how is it that the Democrats can win the House & Senate on a campaign of ending the war, & keep funding & sending in more troops? He is running on this very same principal. Promise change, & keep it the same. All I'm saying is stop eating the crap he's feeding you. & this goes for anyone.

gmku 06.03.2008 10:46 PM

I fear this myself. "It's time for a change!" Okay, great, I agree--what are you going to change? I've heard nothing that's any different from the usual rhetoric.

Nothing's going to change. The best we can hope for is that it gets no worse, and that, unfortunately, may be the best reason to vote for Obama. McCain will certianly make it worse. Unfortunately, Obama or any Democrat is not going to make it better.

davenotdead 06.03.2008 10:54 PM

democrats suck... srsly. we need a new Teddy Roosevelt

LifeDistortion 06.03.2008 10:56 PM

Its easy to be bitter and say that it doesn't matter who wins. Yet if nothing else I'm glad the Democrates didn't settle for voting for a name, unlike the Republicans. Who hero worship thier nominations. Who would love nothing more then to vote for another Bush or another Reagen. At least democrates didn't just hand over the nomination to someone out of familarity.

I don't care who! Just get it over and done with and vote for your president of earth!

This has been going on for ages! When-o-when will it end?

At least he's the conservative of years past. A humble foreign policy, & limited government. That's what drew me to his camp.

I hate the Democratic party with a passion, but really after 8 years of W, wouldn't just about anybody make it better?

McCain scares me because I think he's made it pretty clear he's itching to get into it with Iran just like Bush was with Iraq. However, he's really not nearly as bad as Bush, and the people who pull his strings are not nearly as bad as the multinational oil companies behind W's administration.

Obama is considerably better than McCain, though, yes he is only going to get there by playing the disgusting party politics game with the full support ot the milk-toast and sold-out coalition that is the party of the Jackass. So be it.

I'm sure we all have a next door neighbor or somebody we go bowling with who is more honest, better qualified, and obviously more in touch with our values - so the self-righteously purist among us should forget about Nader, Paul, and the rest of the pretended-to-also-rans and just write in their buddy Trevor or Claire. It makes much more of a statement, and you know you like them after all!

Me, I'll swallow my pride and take the lesser of two evils, and just be glad that this time it's waaaaaay lesser than what we've gotten used to.

✌➬ 06.04.2008 01:37 AM

Go Obama.
