if i go see a reunited/out of retirement band live (which i mostly don't with some exceptions), i'd feel grateful if they don't shove new shit into a setlist.

the guy who put these up was a god.

bilinda just looks like the pretiest thing that's ever existed.

DNAINTHEDNA 06.14.2008 12:02 PM

king_buzzo 06.14.2008 12:09 PM

^ haha yeah, i was about to post this. is allright audio, not bad when compared to the stuff that was recorded 16 years ago.

is kevins guitar is clipping a lot though.

DNAINTHEDNA 06.14.2008 12:12 PM

im on when you sleep....wow just fucking wow

Sir Paul Skinback obe 06.14.2008 12:24 PM

I went to this last night and my hearing has not fully returned yet, I must be getting old. Never got to see them first tme around so not sure how to make a comparison but it was a really amazing gig but a bit of me felt it was a bit of a 'party like it's 1991' nostalgia trip.

I really enjoyed the wind tunnel bit, Kevin's face was a picture when looking into the audience during it.

king_buzzo 06.14.2008 12:32 PM

wind tunnel?

oh you mean the noise section om ymmr?

yeah its really suprising how kev and bilinda never move while deb and colm rock the hell out.

StevOK 06.14.2008 01:31 PM

omg omg omg omg omg I can't wait to hear it...53% dowloaded...now 54%...this is torture.

king_buzzo 06.14.2008 02:12 PM

as usual, their vocals are completely lost in the mix.

i thought it was going to sound much different and much more modern and that everything is going to be so tight together and lets say 'newer'. but yes, it sounds freaking awesome and it sounds like they've never broken up

Derek 06.14.2008 02:19 PM

Can't wait to see them in a few weeks.

acdc518 06.14.2008 04:44 PM

kevin's pedalboard
100th post!

king_buzzo 06.14.2008 04:57 PM

^ i've seen that but we really need a clear shot of this.

basically his setup looks loads different than from the loveless tour. there are actually pedals that do something rather than before when he only used reverb and whatever cheapass pedals he could find.

yeah theres another picture from the side where he's got the rack and pedals on it.

but where are the zvex pedals he loves so much? i know how he's always talking about them

Savage Clone 06.14.2008 04:59 PM

I see no ZVEX either, but there is what appears to be a Snarling Dogs "Mold Spore" wah; the kind with the ring modulator in it. Also a Roger Mayer Octava from the look of it.

king_buzzo 06.14.2008 05:06 PM

yeah thats true.

its like

whammy
some wah
truly beautifull disaster
MG thats echo folks
then some 2 pedals i dont know about
snarling dogs
octavia
pete cornish (maybe?)
ernie ball volume
boss tuner.

thats as far as i got

acdc518 06.14.2008 05:15 PM

i think the wah might be a rotovibe, a budda, or RMC, according to the cornish site he owns a NG fuzz. there has to be a trem in there somewhere. i'm sure he has a rack too. wonder if he still uses the midiverb and spx90

fugazifan 06.14.2008 05:26 PM

wow, belinda looks stunning, it doesnt look like she's aged even a bit

damnt website won't link flickr images.

well yeah, it looks like there's a bunch of other pedals on the top of that rack cabinet

acdc518 06.14.2008 05:42 PM

those are probably eq's and samplers i think he's been using a boss rc-20xl
