They were all my friends and classmates and then when 11th grade rolled around they all just dropped out. Like 15 kids I knew and hung out with just dropped out and it was me and like 3 friends left in school.

I'm from a small town. I still hang out with those kids. Most of them have stopped tweaking.

I've never actually met anyone from my school who's done coke, it's just weed and stuff they do.

My city friend's started with ecstasy way before the people at my school. They were all crazy about it for a year, then it came to my school and there are still some people who do it all the time. It's been about three years now? But really, it's only the big idiots left doing it regularly.

My school has pot heads, heavy drinkers, coke heads, e tards, shroom lovers, and then the randoms who fit in all categories.

I grew up in a city (or village would be amore accurate term) with a lot of dairy farms. And southern baptists. So the people that werent addicted to religion, and yes it can definitely be a drug, mostly drank. But then you had the kids that didnt think alcohol was enough, plus the fact that it was hard to find a 21 year old to buy it since most people move out as soon as they graduate. If they dont graduate, they work on a farm or a chicken slaughter house and dont hang out with high schoolers. So pot was a favorite. And for those bold enough, shrooms. I dont think i knew of anyone doing acid in high school. If they did, it wasnt real acid. Most of us lived on or near cow fields. And the farmers didnt give a fuck as long as we weren't fucking with the cows. So we would just take a football with us. Give the image that we were just some good ol boys looking for a fun place to throw the pig skin. Cow patti fights happened a few times...

There was some crack around. Not much real coke though. I've never done either, and dont really care to. I dont like uppers, and i dont like people on uppers. I dont care if people do it, I just dont wanna be around it.

and the pot was regs. horribly dried out, ultra compressed with seeds and stems that was about 30% of the weight...at least. But we smoked it. And in desperate times, we smoked the stems too.

When I started in high school, my friend's mom was all, "Chances are several people you know from school will die by graduation."

No one died though. Which is kind of a shame in some cases.

Yeah. We had 1200 kids in my school and no one died from alcohol poisoning or drug overdoses at all.

Some of my friends committed suicide but it was all after they would've graduated.

that's why i feel weird- i was wtith the jesus-loving band kids, asshole drummers who think bud lite is the most kickass alcohol ever, and an occasional pot-smoking drama kid but nothing ever like that.

It never happened in my school either. There were some suicides and some murders and some jailings though.

one guy this past year whom i knew vaguely died in a car crash, but he had dropped out weeks before.

No suicides or murders here, I don't even think anyone went to jail.

My new school is different though, pretty much stereotypes for fuck ups. I don't really talk to a whole lot of people there, so I bet there have been some deaths and what not. I know one guy who had already graduated died of an overdose last year.

My one friend claims to be straightened out now, but we all know they talk out of their asses when it comes to shit like that. I'll believe it when I see it, and chances are I'll never see her again.
