listen, Obama is not the savior. every candidate has to say/do/act certain ways in order to garner votes from certain demographics in order to win. their job is to win as many votes as possible, and their parties will make damn sure they say whatever is necessary to do so. i guess the only real politicians you can trust aren't lying out of their teeth are the independents, who have no hope of winning anyway, so they don't have to worry about saying the right things to get votes. so put me down for Nader too

I cannot begin to understand when people say they are going to break out of the cult of personality mentality by voting for Ralph Nader. The man is the biggest demagogic narcissist in politics, which is a shame because the platform he used to stand for before he became entirely in love with his navel was quite valid.

I'll vote for Obama. He's infinitely better than Kerry was and he kept the Bush/Clinton dynasty from going on forever. For that alone I feel I owe him anything I can give him.

Yeah, I find it's kind of like choosing between a Swanson's frozen pot-pie and an Amy's frozen enchiladas. Either way you still get a t.v. dinner, but at least with the Amy's you've got something that's actually approaching real food.
