yeah, ive totally been rediscoving this record. its great, lots of amazing melodies and riffs, yada yada. but you know what it has a lot of that isn't even really talked about? NOISE. for a major label debut its good a lot of skronk on there, we talked about the outro to "Mote" which wouldnt have been out of place on "confusion" or "silver sessions", but also "Cinderella", "Titanium Expose", etc.. And it has some of the best all out rockers like "Dirty Boots". Unfortunately songs like "goo" ruin the record for me. Actually no they don't, Im starting to love this again.

goo does have a LOT of skronk! I love the skronk! I need sonic youth to give me more skronk because it is their skronk I am addicted to. skronkafy the soundwaves sonic youthians!
