The only reason I havent deleted my facebook profile is because it would send a message to all my friends and all my partners friends that he and I were no longer in a relationship.. and I dont really like the idea of that bulletin.

facebook is neater than myspace because there are no annoying custom pages with music and videos and blahablhablha, and there arent a zillion crappy band pages. They are however replaced with a zillion crappy applications which people continually invite you to use.

myspace is great for my band/music/label stuff, i like the way you could present yrself on it, it's popular enough to get the attention you need for shows, releases, etc.

facebook is okay for having people for contacts and information, promoting creative stuff and generally have OK people in one place when you need 'em.
since I don't use them both for 'teen' bullshitting, I found both sites useful for what I originally made my accounts. they're full of worthless shit of course. I just don't waste time with it, and only stick with what I do on them.
and there isn't really a reason to complain about how 'dumb', 'childish', etc. these sites are, since you are not dumb or childish the way you act there. the link I provided here shows the opposite though.
