My hate for Couric stems from the ruination of trhe NBC Olympics broadcasts. she was HORRIBLe, completely clueless about sports, and how to cover them, and talked endlessly about superfluous shit that the producers thought might attract casual lady viewers, but did not.

as far as lynch. I think he is a visionary filmmaker. I just do not like his final product. his m,ovies seem better to talk about than to experience, which is something good actualy, but I do not enjoy his movies.
They seem like the deranged dreams of a rich bastard (the recent ones).

The way Letterman would treat Hunter S Thompson in interviews would send me into a rage, looking back on them. Not that I was even born when they happened.

At least Conan knew how to work with thompson. It seemed like they kind of got along. They were both/very intelligent people.

Yeah, I really got into him about my senior year of Highschool I think...but after a few years realized the same thing. I still watch it from time to time and will probably watch it for a bit when he takes over the Tonight Show and Andy Richter comes back.

Overall I think individually, he's a comic genius. But is comfortable doing the same thing. He's very intelligent and probably realizes that his fanbase dies every couple of years and he get's a new one around the same age group and can keep his stronghold going.
