Jim O'Rourke is not a genius. He kind of sucks and ruins every album he comes in contact with. Rather Ripped is so brilliant because he left the group.

Yeah, he did actually make Stereolab sound worse. And Wilco is not very good in my opinion. I never liked them enough to buy anything they did.
