due to the black miasma that surrounds it, I almost forgot my shrine to OJ's ball.

It's difficult precisely what, but I have a feeling it would something from my coin collection. I used to collect quite enthaustically in my youth but have all but quit due to it being an extremely expensive hobby. That said, my most valuable would be:

1. A Carson City Morgan Dollar from the 1880s? (not 100% on date without opening the safe) that was something around the $1,000 mark 7 or 8 years ago.
2. 1987 Full ounce gold US Bullion coin. These rise and fall with gold and usually go for 1.5 or 2x the price of gold. So it's a least $1,000

A rough estimate to the value of my entire collection (there's not a whole lot, but several boxes, a safe, various other things and the entire set of state quarters, both P and D mints) would be $15,000-20,000

Oh, and your address please

jon boy 07.08.2009 11:29 AM

i own a small chunk of the berlin wall.

Glice 07.08.2009 11:37 AM

I don't have anything of any massive value. A couple of records that are worth a bit, but nothing I could retire on. My family is poor, know what I'm saying?

i would imagine my apartment is worth some serious coin

"valuable"-- no fucking clue. i have some fucked pirate coin that isn't worth much.

i thought of flotzer's house but if it's mortgaged i don't know.

paid-off possessions (not on a loan)-- i guess my car

you can steal it here:

1515 Eubank SE
Albuquerque, NM 87123

no combination necessary. just figure out how to hotwire it without triggering the security system and you're gold.

i also own a hovel in the sticks, but i ain't revealing its location-- that's where i'm bunkering down for the 'poclypse.

o wait-- do 2 metric tons of rice buried undergound count as "valuable"? we'll see in 2013 as famine strikes.

The Beck GOLDEN FEELINGS CD I have is pretty rare. Usually goes for $200-$300 on ebay last I checked. It was officially released on cassette, but then when Sonic Enemy re-released it on CD in 1999, Beck('s lawyers) pulled the plug on it and it was OOP within days.

Also, I have a copy of BLOOD LP by The Microphones with one of the original hand-painted covers. Goes for a LOT since it's such a limited run, vinyl-only and personalized by Phil.

both of these items I've sort of meant to sell on ebay for the past couple of years, but I never get around to it. (the only band I hardcore collect is SY [well, and Lindsay Lohan] so the rest of my stuff can be on CDR and it doesnt bother me. In fact MOST of the music I buy is digital to begin with anyway.

I think with records, unless it's the Butcher album (which I don't believe 'Satan' owns), it's probably worth selling them when the band are something. I've inherited a few Wonder Stuff things that were probably worth a mint in 1991, but I'd be surprised if I got their purchase price now.

Model, make and year? Might want to up the insurance on it too, just tell them you put Porsche alloys on it or something.
