Yeah, I've never heard it, I saw that compilation at amoeba but didn't want to spend $35 on it for, potentially, only one track.
Cool, I'll get it.

i dont see the point in reduxing bleach...if its remastered its gonna sound shittier than it did anyway in the first place (i mean that in a good way) the shittyness of that record is its best quality...that and negative creep.... but its an album of the time and in that time and in that shitty cheapshit room recording...the way kids record in their mama basement on a crappy tapedeck...its punkrock..its not universal reduxed the fuck out of it flood gates and massive butch vig (i was in garbadge you know) yeah we do butch and may it follow you to your grave you semi indie wanna be who really listens to bon jovi all the time ...gah! politics.... its all shit....
im off to douse my head in the new quadruple double vinyl copy cd burn of the last green river album, the one with the holographic sleeve and official mark arm puike rings on the insert...... |
I have no use for rehashed albums. Why would I buy songs that I already have. "and the money l roll right in"
If I have the original, especially on vinyl, I rarely buy a rehash. The extra tracks are hardly ever worth the extra price, and the remastering often seems pointless.
a mate has the green (or pink) vinyl signed by kurt and chris when they played in cork with sy in 1990...... pointless post but i thought id share it.
yr all negative creeps
yr all negative creeps yr all negative creeps and NOT stoned..... |
Glad to see most people here can see this for what it is a cheap nostalgia cash in.P1:Oh whats that bleach turned 20? Lets re-release it with no new material or extra tracks. P2:yea but wont fans be pissed, we have plenty of stuff to make this re-issue great. P1:*slap You idiot nirvana is our eternal cash cow we need to milk it for every drop its worth and stick to our plan of releasing one never heard track every 10 yrs by the band so the fans will keep coming back for more. P2:Haha yea those morons will eat up anything nirvana related, that reminds how are we doing with those nirvana sneakers?
I'd get it if it weren't remastered. We all know it's gonna be compressed to hell and sound like shit, even on vinyl. Might as well just get the original, I'm sure I can find it cheaper.
Most of the re-ussies(mudhoney, vaselines and red red meat) were golden to be honest but no this one would be a gaint peice of crap.

![]() “Distressed in the way Kurt Cobain wore them, the shoes provide a rarely seen glimpse into the head of this musical and lyrical genius with sketches that display his hopes, dreams and lyrics from amazing songs such as Come As You Are.”To further pay tribute to the late singer, three of the Converse shoes that Cobain was often seen wearing will be reflected in the new collection which includes versions of Chuck Taylor All Star, Jack Purcell and One Star shoes. To make the collection even more unique, they’ll have wear and fray detailing and Kurt Cobain’s signature subtly embroidered on the shoe’s outer. The shoes will be made available in black and white versions and should retail for around $50 – $65. |
