I don't like gold. I think it doesn't suit me. They are very expensive. But sometimes I treat myself to something expensive like bags or shoes. I figure if I like something, I'll keep it for longer and wear it more often than other cheaper things I can buy.

Gold looks tacky most of the time, or at least I think so. I only do white gold, or silver. I guess I would do red gold too, but it would really depend.

I sometimes tell myself I won't go out for weeks so I can get certain shoes, which doesn't make sense because then I don't have anywhere to go to wear them.

I was the same before. Then I got a full time job and I was embarassed to show up wearing the same thing all the time.

I actually got in shit for wearing my boots (even though I had worn them at work for moonnthhss), and had to go buy something else to wear. So I got these ugly clogs, but they were comfy as fuck.

Really though, I don't see why my boots were a problem? The clogs were much more hideous.

I worked at a photo place. We developed photos, sold cameras and picture frames...

It's possible that clogs weren't the "right" thing to wear either. My boss was kinda a pushover, quiet type though, so she might have just kept it to herself rather than making me go buy more shoes.

My last job was very corporate and very anal about everything.
