yes, while I may not give a rat's ass about her tunes, I do enjoy the circus she creates around herself very much./ pop stars shoudl be this superfluous and vacant. The "earnest" pop stars make me sick.

I don't know much about Gaga, but i do want to bang the shit out of her....for some reason. I saw an interview with her on You Tube i think and she was saying how she was into Bowie and art rock and hung out in Greenwich Village and that's what inspired her. She probably saw the Ashes to Ashes vid for her costumes..

She stole one look from Róisin Murphy. Her outfit people have steadily been ploughing through about 80 years of fashion for Gaga's looks.

My opinion of Gaga's music hasn't really changed - I'm still enjoying the pop spectacle, and the sleeve art is some of the more considered I've seen in proper pop for a long time, and her outfits are mostly brilliant, but someone has forgotten to give her any decent tunes.
