Cicadas rule. come to Houston. You can hear them for miles.

When I was a kid in elementary school we had one of those 17 year swarms of cicadas where they are literally covering everything. The kids would pick them up and chase me with them. I've never run as fast since.

I do miss the annual kind that make pleasant noise in the summer since I moved to the NW. I used to pretend I was sitting on an alien planet while I sipped my drink.
