Just a minor correction... Sleeping Around wasn't formerly known as Sonic Mirror. Sonic Mirror was the name Steve/Kim/Thurston were billed under because Thurston + Kim = Mirror/Dash and Steve played with them making it more like Sonic Youth related, hence Sonic Mirror.

is that definately the front cover for the new album?, i usually love their album covers like murray street and bad moon rising ut i dont really like this one, i will probly grow on me as much as the music does.

I don't have the CD, I just had the opportunity to take a photo of the back sleeve (there was no front sleeve). Although I'm a fan, I don't follow the band religously and wasn't sure if the info contained on the sleeve was known (early and parenthesis titles). I did listen to about a minutes worth of the album across the first three tracks though.

Looks like they were calling Reena "Stonesy", which means that they are aware that it sounds like Stones from Sonic Nurse.

Some people were saying that after hearing a bit of it from that radio interview. Maybe SY made it sound like Stones on purpose, or maybe after the fact, they realized it.

The other difference is that Jams Run Free was called Jagged Brain. Hmmmm.

I really like the track on that summer 05 video. The drumming is fantastic
