yeah i read the second one of those before.

i think she is massively massively overrated. but there is nothing else even remotely as interesting as her on that kind of mainstream scale, which is as much a show of the blandness of the times as anything else.

she puts in exhausting amounts of work into it, but only really gets a few tiny moments in a few of her songs that are anything close to interesting. telephone and bad romance have their moments, the rest is crap. does it really take all that effort to get those above average pop songs.

most things about her are regressive. except the pro gayness, which she'd need to be considered everything she steals from them. as was said on some blog, she is basically a female playing at being a tranny. i'd prefer the tranny to be honest. but the fact that that is whats most popular in 2010 is i guess slightly encouraging. the coke cans in the hair and studded jacket look is cool. she actually seems like a nice, unpretentious person in interviews.

i don't dislike her at all, she's very appealing. but what shes doing now is gonna date badly, and all the crappiest parts of the era are embodied in her. but there is noone else right now i could imagine having a 20 year career like madonnas.

its funny to see everyone else trying to catch up with her. beyonce just embarrasses herself. she's terrible anyway. but gaga is not being a queen bee about it, like that "i have no enemies" quote. she is simply weirder and better than the rest of them. i like that a lot.

Peaches said she liked the idea that Lady Gaga existed, to introduce the kids to grittier stuff like her, in some interview in my local newspaper... She said that Lady Gaga is making this weirdness cool and palatable to the masses... :) And she can actually sing and write her own songs; which is OK... Although her songwriting and music are not really the point...

Peaches is OK... Electroclash is a bit too new wavy for me... And I think Gaga is actually introducing people to modern electronic music... Like electroclash... One aspect of Gaga's appeal is her electronic music slant... Modern electronic music definitely has a certain element of weirdness attached to it; and that aspect of weirdness is what Gaga's playing up - or so it seems... So in a way, she's prepping up these kids to listen to something other than R&B or 'normal' pop... That's my opinion, anyway... Anyway, she's really giving these kids a new way of looking at fashion; which is exactly what Madonna started out doing...
