I bought No Setlist instead, which should be (almost) as good but substantially cheaper. :D Waiting patiently by my mailbox....

No Setlist is really cool. And weird in a way, because all the characters I feel like are people that we all "know" but don't. Like I read the book and would be thinking about each person mentioned in the audience or parking lot after a show "hmm. Who is THAT? Is that Rob? Is that Adam?" haha. It' s probably how friends of the Beats felt reading like Kerouc's prose or whatever. :)

I can guarantee its delivery, unfortunately I cannot guarantee that it will
be delivered by my favorite postal carrier.

I just ordered it. Now I'm hoping not to regret the investment of EUR 58.

You will not regret it, I can guarantee it!

As soon as I can afford to I will buy myself another copy (the second edition)

What's the difference between the two?

stu666 11.05.2011 09:17 AM

Coloured vinyl and a few corrections and credits added. Don't know if there's any other difference.

Gulasch Noir 11.05.2011 09:36 AM

Cool, that's good news. I bought this article, which apparently is available since March, 1st 2009. So I guess, it's the original version with the black and the clear 7 inches.

Ha, now there are 3 copies left. When I bought my copy two hours ago, it said, it would be the last copy left.

I have two copies of the second edition, so in this case i'm not able to provide info about the differences between the two editions. One of the 7" included is red with yellow spots, and contains "Ivan" by Steve Shelley, and "Aerosol" by Thurston Moore; and the other one is blue (not green, i think noisereductions made a little mistake when describing his copy) with green spots and it includes "Song For Reverse Karaoke" by Kim Gordon, and "Rats (demo)" by Lee Ranaldo.
