Oh, and my OF obsession of the day is the 'Rolling Papers' track 'Super Market', mainly because the beat sounds like some King Geedorah shit.

like you said, it's a bit different cuz the beats arent really theirs... but there were some AMAZING lines on their man, which furthered the mythology/my obsession. Like i think it's Tyler who says something about how really he's "an emo faggot who's depressed" which further's my thought that there's a lot of fantasy in their lyrics. Very American Psycho.

But yeah if EARL is a 5/5, then RADICAL is a 3/5. But still worth hearing, and I'll listen again. But I've listened to EARL 3 times in 24 hrs. So I like it a lot I'm saying. haha.

PS, I think the title track "Earl" is maybe the most ridiculous song of the year.

The track 'Earl' is the single biggest 'OMG' hip-hop track of the year for me. I mean there are other good candidates for 'best' track sure, but nothing beats that for sheer knock out effect. A friend just sent me a link to the (AMAZING) video for it in like July, and I just couldn't really believe it existed when I first heard it. Like there are so many little moments in that track that blew my mind, even on first listen. The very opening of the track, with the drop? The distortion that hits at like 20 seconds in? 'My dick is having guts for lunch'?!

Oh, and how fucking good is 'Pigeons'?! 'The funeral service was fucking worthless, so I said a couple words, and I didn't know her but I'm confirming that she sure gurgled dick.' The beat is totally vintage Doom sounding on that one as well. 'Wave hi to the Ritalin regiment'
