I really don't want to come off all preachy or anything but here's my experience with robo-trippin' for what it's worth....

I went through a little phase in my teens where I did A LOT of robo-trippin'. I really enjoyed it my first couple times so being the addictive personality I am I decided to do it again and again. Bad idea. Before long I had these sharp pains in my knees. Almost like so-called growing pains but sharper. It was weird and I figured it probably had something to do with all the Robotussin I was drinking. Sure enough once I stopped messing with that shit the pains went away never to return. Think about it. It's only the dextromethorphan that causes the psychedelic experience. You need to drink a whole bottle of Robotussin DM to get enough dextromethorphan in you to "trip". Think about all those other ingredients, all that garbage, you're putting into your body to have a trip. God only knows what's in that crap and I'm sure it was probably something else in there that was 'causing the problems I was having. It certainly can't be good for your stomache lining and all that. As I said before, I don't want to come off all preachy but I have heard stories of people overdosing and even dying from drinking too much Robotussin. You couldn't pay me to drink that shit today....

you can't really "trip" on painkillers. Most are opiates, just a light heroin type experience. Which is heaven, if you take the correct dose, the problem with painkillers is that its far too easy to take too much and end up in the bathroom throwing up.
