as "crowned Kings of oop t'north", i would have voted for The Fall, but since songs were to be chosen from, I voted for "Do The Du" (which I probably voted for just because I did not want to vote "City Hobgoblins" - a song I love - just like everyone else...)

Weren't the Cabs from Sheffield? And are we basing this purely on punk bands? Otherwise why no The Smiths, or Happy Mondays. from that list, I'd have to go for The Fall though.
