I'm not saying I like Greenday, just that they aren't the antithesis of Sonic Youth. I used to listen to Greenday and I have perfectly sane friends who love them. I disagree, but who cares.

Apologies granted if you find this offending, but most of us are aware that we all have different liking. Of course I can respect your opinions for having a different taste (The centaur thing was a joke), but it's very out of place to be posting this in a Sonic Youth forum. Of course, people can have a very diverse taste in music, and most of us here do, but we all share a relatively similar critiquing style when it comes to artists.
