1991 - The Fall (a love that started in 1986) 2001 - The Fall 2006 - The Fall and Sonic Youth share equal standing. I think that the release of Murray Street was what really made me love Sonic Youth; the sheer brilliance ofMurray Street (my favourite LP of all time) made me listen again to what I had and explore the entire back catalogue with rather more seriousness. I came to love Sister and NYC Ghosts and Flowers almost as much as I already loved Murray Street and Dirty. |
