what people do not want to realize is that it was not the moon landing and NASA that was fake, it was the idea that USSR was POWERFUL and RICH and DANGEROUS that was fake as all fuck. It was a lie created and fed by those in power in the USA to maintain a "cold" war, fought in proxy states such as vietnam, korea, afghanistan, etc. THAT was the fake.

the soviet union was pathetically never even close to the USA in any respect. They sent the first "man in space" Yuri Gagarin, but that is also a lie. there are many reports that the months before Yuri went up, the Soviets had sent another human up who died in the space capsule and drifted through orbit. It was tracked by americans.

The USSR could never keep up in space race, in arms race, in nothing. they took money from their own starving citizens to fund what was essentially a propped up lie of a cold war.
