I think I could, but the circumstances would have to be extreme and also very, very personal. Doing it to strangers because some jarhead with more embroidery on his jacket than me told me to seems stupid to me.

In a "kill or be killed" situation, or a situation where loved ones are in danger and you have the means to stop their suffering, I believe any one of us is probably capable of killing.
