Yes yes yes but it's the year 2150 over here and still no trace of a consistent revival.The NME is all about 'new polka' and The Wire has introduced a 'Global Sounds Of Venus' section in the magazine.

oh dear, you read NME....or perhaps there was dry humour i missed...i think you blokes are severely mistaken...you must be getting old, though i will give props to the Chinese...that is going to be THE country in 5 years.
