my 4th concert ever was a metallica concert when i was 8.
i grew up rockin out to skid row, motley crue, metallica, sabbath, zeppelin, who, alice cooper, and a bunch of others
my uncle (who i looked up to growin up) was a metal head
he took my to my first concert which was ozzy (i was 7)

Yeah I grew up listening to them aswell (well not Skid Row or Motely Crue) as I have older brothers and a father who digs cool music.

i dont like them really, but i picked Fuck Yes because my 9 yr old nephew is obsessed with them, all he talks about is Metallica and Alice in Chains, he went to see them in concert in ireland with his little sister and his mam and dad (my older brother) it was he fist live concert and Alice in Chains with the new singer played before them, so from this he got into Alice in Chains. He's a rockin little dude who loves em, so therefore i wont have a bad word to say about them.

Exactly...I'm into them and I fucking hate them at the same time. I think they are a bunch of cunts and watching that documentary made me realise just how alien they are as people to me. Watching them spend ages over their half arsed, ridiculous lyrics was odd. Having said that they did produce Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets and And Justice For All which are all really great.

Up until 'And Justice For All' they are great.After that they're shit.

i like some of their stuff and hate a lot of it and i think they are total dicks, especially the drummer who was one of the people desperate to shutdown downloads via the internet.
