That is, quite literally, a fucking ace song. Up there with the thong song in terms of the joy and horror in enjoying it.

Lots of horrid eurodance emerged from sweden in mid 90's. Pandora, E-type and million other one hit wonders. I wonder how many people did it alienate from good electronic music.

technically, the new decade/century/millenium didn't start until 2001 (there was no year 0; it started with year 1). so, that song was released in the 90s.

I'll go with that shitty band LIMP BIZKIT's "Nookie", holy shit how obnoxious
whats worse is my ownership of their first two albums.

Pablitzen 04.17.2006 09:22 PM

and what about Rick Astley? :D

sonikold 04.17.2006 10:27 PM

how about sugar ray and smash mouth?

and that horrible swedish electro country band, whatever the fuck they were called...

Onani Nic 04.17.2006 10:54 PM

you serious??? those were two splendid guitar songs!!!! MUCH MORE crappy stuff was on air in the 90ties I guess.

My tips would be all them gay boy bands like:
Boyzone
Caught in the Act
NSync
Westlife
Five
and shit like that

Everyneurotic 04.18.2006 09:40 AM

nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah

you are all forgetting:

BA WIT DABA DA BANG DA BANG DIGGY DIGGY SAY UP JUMP THE BOOGIE

MY NAME IS KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID

KID ROCK!!!!

you really don't have any sense of humor. i love pretty much all the songs mentioned because they are so disgustingly bad, i can't help but collapse in laughter and that makes me love them. they help me have a good time. plus, dance hits of the early 90's remind me of the stupid kiddie parties i went to when i was in 6th/7th grade and how dumb those parties went.

the macarena is the most awful thing to be called music.

what about will smith's "just the two of us" or anything by puff daddy, especially that anal rape that was his "cover" of led zeppelin's kashmir with none other than the whore himself, jimmy page? man, those are crappy!!!

how about len's steal my sunshine? you guys probably hate it but that's one of my fav one hit wonders

and yeah, smells like teen spirit is as bad as the macarena. so is, in much smaller scale, epic by faith no more

NOW GET IN THE PIT AND TRY TO LOVE SOME ONE!!!

Holy crap. Talk about a flashback. They just sort of disappeared.

you guys are all wrong, i'm afraid..
the absolute worst of the 90s was a little tune called "i will always love you" and was performed by none other than whitney houston...

that was the absolute worst, so terrible, that words are not potent enough to describe tha pain this song has caused...

saoq 04.18.2006 02:36 PM

ok i just reemebered this - it's as bad as it gets
Chimo Bayo - Extasi Extano
(or: Exta-sii Exta-no !)

it's almost *too much* it's early 90s techno, featuring all shorts of cheesy effects and cliches.
let me offer a lyric excerpt

Chiquitam chiquititam tam tam que tumbam bam que tumbam que tepetepe tambambam que tumbam que pim. Chiquitam chiquititam tam tam que tumbam bam que tumbam que tepetepe tambambam que tumbam que pim. Chiquitam chiquititam tam tam que tumbam bam que tumbam que tepetepe tambambam que tumbam que pim.

Extasi extano! Extasi extano!

I double checked and the song itself came out in 99:

Blue (da be de da ba da) or whatever. Makes my ears bleed...
By Eiffel something or other.

blue his house with a blue little window and a blue corvette and everything is blue for him and himself and everybody around...

have you seen the video for that song? it looks like it was done in 1969, not 1999

dirty bunny 04.18.2006 05:57 PM
