I always rep the good bird, but thanks publicly for this thread and the awesome pictures. I was gonna post an interview with The Moscow Times that was in English, but I haven't read the whole thread, so I'm not sure if it has been posted already.

much nerves spent, i'm really pissed off
much thanks to rappard - i'm not sure that i could convince Carlos the Manager to help me without his recommendations
the final result:
* full video by me (half time shaky, because of the slam)
* about 55 min from one more guy
* unknown duration from the third guy, i just seen him filming, couldn't ask for his contacts; Toxa, did you get his number?
* full 3 first songs, pro-shot from A-One channel, probably some additional footage
they will also film an interview today (20th June)
* full audience audio from MD
i also talked to sound engineer, as rappard told, but that didn't help
he said "We don't make soundboards"
so we get 3-4 cameras, full video total plus some better sound than without MD recording
TV guys are friendly, so they'll share their record, really nice (and young) people
i'll edit everything in July, as soon as possible
until 3rd July i'm busy with unversity, sorry
i think much videos will appear at YouTube soon

i also remind that there were at least 3 cameras in St.Petersburg
so everything will be OK, guys, don't worry :)

unfortunately, I didn't see him at the end... :( sorry...........

Thanks Martin, looks like a quite simple thing after all, if you are lucky enough not to run into bad mooded bouncers/security guys :). I'm searching some "contacts" to see if I can be credited as a photographer in one of the italian dates, but it's nerarly impossible actually. I'll see what happens. OH, a little "tech" question, I have an Edirol r-09 , do you think that recording a gig with the built in mics could result in a decent sound or just a shitty noise mess?

Too bad I don't understand a single thing! :) There is not an "hidden" "english" button or something, right?....

- I've never used an Edirol, so I can't help you there. Googling reviews and/or searching the forums on etree.org and taperssection.com might help.

Unfortunately they have't played in Moscow Teen Age Riot+(

damnit, why does everybody else get Expressway..? I'm travelling to Scotland to see them twice, I hope they at least play something from EVOL one of the times... Too bad I wasn't there yet... I'm moving to Petersburg for nine months at the end of August. And Sonic Youth sold out in Chicago, so my chances are caput. But, I have seen them twice, so for every Russian that got to see them for the first time, congratulations. You probably went home and threw something at a wall in excitement, hoping the sound quality was comparable to the amazing aural stimulation you had just been subjected to.
