I didn't want to quit. It was more a case of if I drank again my body was telling me I'd basically snuff it - such was the absolute state my body was in. The answer turned out to be to simply not drink cheap anymore..

It's actually a bit more than that. I've lived a tiny, closed-off existence for many, many, many years. Sex is part of being human. Going, like, seven years without can't possibly be healthy.

I've been getting lucky the last two, three months and it really has improved my overall well-being.

Yeah, it's actually a physical/mental health thing, a just-being-human sort of thing. Hard to explain. It's not some "Dude! So horny. Wanna pound some beaver" sort of thing. Indeed, my libido is pretty quiet. But when it wakes, I'd rather connect with a person and not a sock.

Yesterday morning I found myself sipping my coffee and looking out my front window. It was 'trash day' and my neighbors across the street had all this trash without using proper bags/cans. I scowled in their house's general direction disgustingly, like Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino.
