I do know it, once I stepped off a train in the wrong station just to go and talk to a girl I've seen on the platform, because I knew I'd regret not doing so.

Hopeless romantic! :p

nicfit 05.23.2007 08:46 AM

Nefeli, did you edit that post or is my mind playing tricks? I read "the perfect boy" at first.

There's a guy who takes the same bus as me every morning who's a total fox.

floatingslowly 05.23.2007 08:56 AM

I just bought a 2005 Nissan Sentra. it beats the hell out of the crappy truck I was driving.

when I got it, we had lots of rain and it slid all over the road. I thought that it was because it was such a small car, but a few days ago I noticed that the insides of the front tires are bald with wire showing. I have to take it in already, because with as few miles as it has this shouldn't happen.

ever since I noticed the bad tires, I've been nervous driving on the freeway.

so yeah....if I stop posting soon it's either because:

a) my tires blew out at 80 mph and I'm in the hospital
b) same as above, but I've already been cremated and shot into space (or new mexico)
c) I'm bored
d) alien abduction
e) all of the above

mangajunky 05.23.2007 08:57 AM

I don't own a car. I live right outside NYC. I ride a Lambretta Jet 200.
I'm fixing up two Vespa 90s.

Here I am with my bike and in front of it is my friend, Mario's Vespa Rally 200

_slavo_ 05.23.2007 08:59 AM

Those Vespa's are sweet.

nicfit 05.23.2007 09:00 AM

You'd probably like my 40's 125cc Lambretta with 2 seats, then.

HECKLER SPRAY 05.23.2007 09:03 AM

I want that car :

mangajunky 05.23.2007 09:05 AM

it's the original bio-diesel.

HECKLER SPRAY 05.23.2007 09:07 AM

Ha ha !! Yes, very ecological.

gmku 05.23.2007 09:13 AM

Yes, I'm a Lexus SUV snob. We tried going green and downsizing to a small sedan. Didn't work. The thing started falling apart inside of three months, and we felt cramped. At the same time, we don't drive all that much. We live in a fairly small city, so the work commute is short, and we don't do a lot of extra driving.

yeah, that happened to me on the subway,
wrote a song about it, goes a little like this....

*ahem

My life is brilliant.

My life is brilliant.
My love is pure.
I saw an angel.
Of that I'm sure.
he smiled at me on the subway.
he was with another man.
But I won't lose no sleep on that,
'Cause I've got a plan.

You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw your face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.

HECKLER SPRAY 05.23.2007 09:21 AM

Ha ha ha !!!

It's in my cousin's garage right now, but it's something like this:

Actually this is the model produced between feb 1950 and november 1951, and I thought my grandpa's one was from 1949, but I could be wrong... unfortunately the gears are fucked up, it needs an overall restauring, me and my brother are saving money to have it treated as it deserves. Ours still have original tire+seats covers :)

There's one of those in my friend's scooter shop. www.scootersoriginali.com. I think it's a customer's bike being fixed.

My bike gets used like crazy. Last year I put 12000 km on it.
I ride all over the country. My original seat and tires are long gone.

nomadicfollower 05.23.2007 03:35 PM

'94 Volvo 850 maroon in color
Which I'm quite proud of.
(the car, not the color)

█████████ 05.28.2008 10:01 AM

one like this since last week...

not the sanest of the decisions, to be driving a car rigth now, but
public transportation is a complete rubbish in this country and
ridding a bike is the same as signing a death sentence, almost like driving
a car, but at least i dont get all sweat.

atsonicpark 05.28.2008 10:18 AM

white 1987 geo spectrum, it gets 36.3mpg, it's super small, it easily fits in small spaces.

Danny Himself 05.28.2008 10:26 AM

Cars? We don't need no stinkin' cars!

!@#$%! 05.28.2008 10:34 AM

All my friends who own a car and live far out in the suburbs use it only in their area 'cause the congestion charge doesn't reach them there. If they go to work they use the public transport. You're right, though, even though it's really expensive driving around it, London suffers from severe traffic congestions on a daily basis.

PAULYBEE2656 05.28.2008 10:45 AM

porky.. is that k.i.t.t.s father?

PAULYBEE2656 05.28.2008 10:45 AM

I can afford a car, but I can afford a lot more with a bike and some feet. I'm lucky to live in a place where, for me, it's quicker to cycle to work than any other means of transport.
