Oh, except for the crazies. We could get by with a lot less of them.

my friend and i jokingly were saying that we wanted to roadtrip to omaha (and by roadtrip i assume we meant fly because it is just TOO far away) and then someone told us we shouldn't because there's nothing there except for slowdown. but i'm not sure that person has ever been there...

I like living in the suburbs because it's safe and quiet, and the "city" here is about a 10 minute drive. So hop in the car, run downtown, and I'm suddenly Urban Hip Guy (UHG).

Yeah it's about the same here. I live on the UK campus area (burbs) & I ride my bike everywhere all is about 5 to 10 minutes away & that rocks. My family (mom) wants me back in Florida in the Orlando area but I don't like the thought of living in a tourist trap. I have already established myself here & I've made some cool friends & met some cool people.

Ew, no, you don't want to back to Florida.

As for the yellow bike program it was made so that it would encourage people to ride as opposed to driving around downtown or within the vicinity. All you do is pay 10 bucks & you get a key to a lock & if you see a yellow bike you can ride it around town. Lets see if it works & people don't start ebaying them.

$10 bucks + cheap spray paint = free bike

OHHHH. Right. I've not been there, that is to say, it proves your freinds theory wrong. There is much more in Omaha, including a better, older venue like Sokol. I'm not keen on Saddle Creek Records.

And one more thing everyone knows each other here which means they've probably fucked each other which makes things a bit incestuos, gross!!!
