well you got some good stuff. nouns will always be there and the cohen record wouldn't have been there much longer for only 4 bucks. |

I just heard the album now, it's very meh.
They sound like a more fuzzy version of The Strokes, that's what they sound like. |
i saw them last week, i can't really remember too much about them other than i liked them more live than i expexcted to after having heard the stuff on their myspace, but still, i thought at the time that there was nothing particularly distinctive about them, and lo and behold a week later and i'm hard pressed to recall anything about their music.

i'll skip their gig then.
I had a bit of a similar feeling about health when i saw them this weekend. they weren't bad and some songs i enjoyed quite a bit, but i just felt that something was lacking in their overall performance. |
times new viking also played and they were good, jay reatard played and he was like the libertines on speed, soiled matress & the springs played and they sound like twee jazz
|
i just got nouns and i love it. power chord pop for these twisted times.
weirdo rippers is better tho. |
I still don't really understand all the hype. Its got some ok riffs. Its alright. Sounds like pretty average rock to me.
|
i dont know, i find them amazing
