Oh, and totally agree, BANE is the best batman villian. They could make 3 movies about him. I mean he fucking broke Batman's back! The whole Bane/Batman/Azrael saga would be amazing.

Personally, my all time favorite portrayal of Batman was Batman: The Animated Series.

Also, I love how this movie doesn't even have BATMAN in the title.

I'm gonna see it next week sometime.

The other versions of the Joker aren't bad. They fit in with the times. Adam West would shit his pants if he had to deal with the new Joker.

Just saw it for the second time. I actually enjoyed it more the second time around. It gave me more of a chance to kinda sort out how all of the plot twists fit together. It's the kind of film that moves so quick you almost feel overwhelmed by eveything they're hitting you with the first time you see it. Plus some of the dialogue was more interesting the second time around, cause you're more aware of how it foreshadows events later on in the picture. This movie is awesome. Batman is far and away my favorite superhero, and I've been reading the comics for years. It's nice to see this kind of interpretation on screen. It further drives home just how terrible the earlier Batman films were. Even the Tim Burton ones weren't great.

Begins was OK. I didn't really like the way the beginning was edited, and I don't really like Liam Neeson.

i don't like cillian murphy either. And obviously Katie Holmes is an idiot.

Not that my dislike of an actor really gets in the way of my enjoying a film.. I just found the film to be a mess.

I know what you mean, but only to an extent. It was a little slow, and didn't have too much action but it was very personal and an origin story for Batman. Which has never been done before. Normally I think some films ruin things when they go into origin stories and they aren't necessary...but with the way they ruined the other batman series...it was necessary.

But it left me wanting more.

& then there was the dark knight.

while I've enjoyed most batman movies to an extent, I always felt tim burton's 1989 batman was the best... I loved the atmosphere in that. But we'll see......

when the crowds die down :)

I'm really excited for the next one. I want to see how Nolan reinvents the Joker, Catwoman, the Penguin, or someone else.

I still don't care about Bane, there is nothing creative about him. Lazy writing in my opinion, it's like a 4 year olds vision of a super villain ( no offense). bane in the animated series and bane in the comic books is completely different.

in the cartoons, he's like the x-men's juggernaut or the hulk, just mindless brutality; but on the comic book, sheeeet!! dude was scary, i remember reading it back in the day (at a store and putting it back on the shelf) and it really was fucked and disturbing for a comic.

I love Harley Quinn but what actress would do justice to the role? I heard a lot of Britney Murphey floating around, but I don't like her, so I personally wouldn't want her in that role. I'm not convinced there's an actress out there that I'm aware of that would live up to my standards.

It would probably end up being Evan Rachel Wood or some other stupid bitch like that.

Having a Harley Quinn to the Joker that Heith Ledger created doesn't add up. She was introduced in the cartoon to be the sidekick of the less disturbing prankster Joker of that series. The Joker of the cartoon was slapstick and not suicidal.

She played the role once already, after all.

I was confused as to why Bane seemed so important to you guys, in the Batman film he's in, he doesn't even speak, he just mumbles.

I wonder who will play her, but now that Heath is gone I wonder who will play him.

Harley is one of the coolest characters in the franchise. She better fucking be in the future.

If they do end up making another Batman movie (which they most likely will), I seriously pity the guy who has to take up the Joker role.
