I missed it. My girlfriend called me from Brooklyn and left a voicemail. I called her back yelling, because I was going to watch the re-run. I saw Zidane's craziness on youtube. Wow....

Certainly not England. This is going to be yet another embaressment in a long history of English World Cup embaressments. The lowest point will be a 2-0 defeat against the USA.

Brazil are always favourites to win the World Cup. I'm putting my money on Mexico.

england might make it to the quater finals but thats about it. penalty shoot out loss with terry crying me thinks.

My heart says one of the African nations might finally pull it off but my head backs Spain. I'd normally go with Argentina but they don't have a chance with Maradona in charge. And while Brazil always manage to do well I've not been particularly impressed by a Brazil side for ages now. They're like Germany with prettier fans.

I still think, with a bit of luck in terms of injuries, that England have a decent chance. Although without any really convincing solution in sight as to how Capello is going to build a team around Rooney I suspect we'll be solid quarter/semi-finalists but no more.

The lads'll pull it out of the bag when the chips are down and play a blinder but only if the play is able to be opened up enough for Smithy, Coxy and Flatley to work together to

I hope for Spain. The more I watch football, the more I love the way they play. Plus, they have Iniesta and Jesus Navas, my favourite players recently.

Slovakia is going to suck ass, but it might be nice to at least beat New Zealand in the group.
