Yep. Having worked in clothing retail, I know for a fact that most store clerks, and managers especially, don't give a damn why you're buying something as long as you fork over the cash.

In fact, probably better that way. One time at the supermarket, the guy in front of me had an enema kit, KY and bananas. Clerk didn't meet his eye.
