Novel and amusing, but dumb.

i see what you mean, but i think it has to do more with poverty than anything.

Another concept: a comp against worldwide poverty released on floppy disk. It will rule

I ended up selling the recorder (for pennies) a fair few years ago. I could probably get a second hand one for about the same as I sold it for or even less but I'd rather be left to imagine that the tracks stuck on those tapes are the masterpieces they actually aren't.

on the opposite almost all 20+ year old disks from my C64 are still working and are readable. lets see how much of my Cds/Dvds will work at that age...

haha, we had those zipdrives at home. they were made by IOmega or something...

my pc is from 2002 and still has a floppy drive, so no problems with TIM, Blues Brothers and Wacky Wheels...

still using my minidisc, solid as a rock.

My copy of Billy Idol's Cyberpunk came with a floppy disk, but I have no idea what's on it. It's super ironic in the best way possible, though.

that's my axe right there except for the hard drive space.

i got a "bootleg" copy of xp but i'm a pussy because i don't know if cool edit pro is going to run and don't want to get poop-tools if it doesn't run. so i haven't "upgraded".

----

i recently got a cd-r housed on a floppy disc, looks cool as it has the label sticker with the credits and a sticker of a vw bus.

---

a format that's super stupid and it's really big in the noise scene is the biz-card cd-r; talk about retarded.

i remember some doofus gave a talk at my first college on how he and another dork bought an exclusive license to distribute and sell bizcard cd-rs andd wanted us marketing people of the future in on the product of the future. o how i laughed that day.

cool edit pro will run on xp... it's called adobe audition now though!

ZEROpumpkins 01.17.2009 07:39 AM
