Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
I think |
Typical answer is BMR but the runner up would be Swans-Greed/ Holy Money (only if I can have the reissue with both! if not it's probably Sisters' Floodland or something similiarly gothy.

![]() Einstuerzende Neubauten - Haus der Luege |
![]() Laughing Clowns - Golden Days: When Giants Walked the Earth. Maybe the runner up, even though it's a compilation And I've been listening to this heaps lately, it could also be one of my favourites. |

It actually translates to "House of the lie". |

Both albums have bird-related things on them. Coincidence?
|
since i have to choose one then i'll probably go with
![]() ive stopped thinking in terms of albums and more in terms of artists. like john fahey, ennio moricone and the sun city girls are probably the three artists that i like the most, but i dont have one album of theirs that i love more than anything. this could be due to the fact that since all three have such a large output i am constantly discovering more music by them, thus dont have the time to place my finger on one particular, knowing that i will discover another that will blow me away. or something.... |
all ye pussies that can't think of just one, make a decision! take a stand! scream it out for the world to hear!

Sometimes I think my favourite rock record is a toss between the Jesus and Mary Chain's 'Psychocandy' and The Morticians' 'Freak Out with The Morticians'. One was some sort of call to arms, the other one was the first record I owned which had a DIY punk look on the sleeve, and sounds like a perfect mixture of garage/the stooges. I can still remember holding both the vinyls in my hands and getting super-excited about the prospect of putting them on the turntable. I still love them in a special way.
|
Also, everyone in those bands looked like 'SEX'.
