yeh I've been out with it, but never for long periods. Out for a night or to the shop, that kind of thing. Rope burn in any crevice is not nice and I think having to work with it would be crappy. I have both cotton (rougher) and more silky nylon sash cord. Don't have any jute or anything like that, but it would be interesting to have a play. Once had a bad experience with rough natural fibre rope that was just too narrow, and ended up with a lot more bruising ( I mark and bruise really easy) than usual.. Apart from that I use all sorts, just depends on what the mood calls for hehe.

Umm if she's going out though, and it's not a hot day, I think silky nylon is the most comfy. That one you posted earlier on is really comfy to have underneath clothing that is free flowing, like a dress, except for the butt area. For me, anyway. Need to be careful it's not too tight because everything moves when you sit down.

I've always wanted to have my hair braided in with a body binding, but it hasn't been long enough. It's halfway to my elbows now though, and I'm getting dread extensions in a couple weeks so, excitement. rawr/

episode 03: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Io0g...e=channel_page There might not be subs for a while! This entire episode is thee mighty God/Dog talking to Man of the Graveyard Man about existiliast spirit quests. With a Man of Yeeeeeeeeeah cameo (that's Kyle), teaching the ABC's, and a song about opium which you all might be familiar with. ...... next episode: Man of the Graveyard Man kills his Master Mystikal .. or does he?!

"One day he went out from the monastery and came across a bucket in front of the well from which the water was drawn. It had a rope attached, and he untied the rope, went to a secluded place and wrapped the rope around his whole body. Over the rope he put a tunic made of hair ... So he remained a year or more with the rope wrapped around his flesh, and it ate into his flesh so that the rope was covered by the rotted flesh of the righteous man. Because of his stench no one could stand near him, but no one knew his secret. His bed was covered with worms, but no one knew what had taken place ... When he heard this, the abbot was astounded. He inspected his bed and found it full of worms, and because of the stench he could not stay there. The abbot said, ' ... Man, why do you do these things? Where does this stench come from? Why do you deceive the brethren? Why do you undo the rule of the monastery? Are you some kind of spirit? Go somewhere else and die away from us.' ... When he heard these things, the saint, bowing to the ground, was absolutely silent, but the place where he was standing was filled with his tears"

atsonicpark 05.12.2009 12:41 PM

what's that from? I want to use that quote in the next episode! hahaha.

fugazifan 05.12.2009 12:58 PM

its part of the story of Saint Simeon Stylites (who stood on a pole for 36 years, bunel loosely based simon of the desert off him)
you should try to find the whole thing, cause its much more gory, especially when they try to take the rope off him...

The aesthetics of the show work wonderfully, but the writing bores me to tears.

atsonicpark 05.13.2009 08:54 AM

Personally, all of my favorite animated shows/movies/television aren't comedies... I've rarely laughed at any movie not directed by Giuseppe Andrews. I watch 'em for the entertainment -- and, sure, for the enlightenment, might as well say it. And this show is about existentialism, spirit seeking, neo mysticism, surrealism... combined with my own life stories. Everything that's happened so far has had something to do with my life... I just present things as is and don't really have any interest whatsoever in attempting to be "funny". It wouldn't work at all, I'm talking about some very dark things here, and there's like a billion things to comprehend in every scene. I'm just going to continue to make it darker and more alienating... It's not total brain-shutdown material, though it's presented that way... the shitty art style isn't done for humor, it's done for surrealism... Granted, there are some things here or there that crack me up, but I have a very particular sense of humor anyway. It's okay that my life isn't entertaining to you, though, haha. I can live with that. There's going to be very few people who "get" it, though I purposely have made the first few episodes a bit simple to ease viewers into my style. Soon, I'm REALLY going to pump up the surrealism... The thing people often misunderstand about me is that I am capable of doing things a "certain" way... in this goes with music or art or anything... playing it straight, ya know.... I know how to replicate other people's styles, if I wanted... I have "talent" I guess (though anyone could probably do it if they just read and practice for a while).... I could probably technically make the show hilarious, if I wanted.... I just don't want to! Anything even HALF-WAY resembling an idea that's already been beaten to death by someone else or is just too obvious, I throw it out. No point being like everyone else. In any way, shape, or form.

...And yeah, Derek, Kyle is the guy from Robe. and that's EXACTLY how he sounds.

Some trivia:
The last 30 seconds or so of episode 4 is 94 different paintings that I did, with 1 every .125 seconds. Also, the weird dreamy sound you hear in the background for most of the episode is just.. uh.. guitar harmonics slowed down.

Dr. Eugene Felikson 05.13.2009 09:58 AM

Fair enough.
I'm just saying that it could use a couple more 'haha's here and there.

Just consider it.

atsonicpark 05.13.2009 10:04 AM

Maybe...

EPISODE 5
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-Gsb...e=channel_page

Fugazifan, thanks for letting me use your music. I hope you don't mind I lower the pitched in the song in the second part as I was fading it out, for dramatic effect.
Enjoy, everyone.

pbradley 05.20.2009 02:51 AM

#7 is my favorite so far

atsonicpark 05.20.2009 02:53 AM

haha, I'm glad.

I try to make every episode extremely different, and it's cool, because everyone has a different favorite. My favorite is episode 9... which obviously isn't done yet.

EPISODE 9

This is the second to last one for this season. I used THis is not here's mannequin pics... Thank you, james frnech, you're credited. This is the most "hallucinatory nightmarish visuals" oriented episode, so watch!

diskaholic-anonymous 05.20.2009 01:45 PM

love your arty vision about punk-rock (ep.8), this could be a nice clip for crass or dead boys, ep 9 liked the visual and noise hallucinatory effects ( i think you should let "talk" more the noise than the voice )

atsonicpark 05.21.2009 04:57 AM
