i like the fact that gwen stated she was more interested in people like debbie harry and madonna, as opposed to say courtney love. i always thought she had a really badass sense of fashion, and is SUPER photogenic. yes, gwens really pretty.

thank god she was one girl who didnt strap on a guitar and go w/out washing her hair.

i think i lost interest in them after watching a live show...just, the way she acted on stage seemed so...well..."staged". i cant appreciate that much in the scheme of rock based music.

but still...theyve had some good songs. ill refrain from listing my favs. lets just say, haha, some of them, oddly enough, came after tragic kingdom.

fuck No Doubt. they suck mad next level

and she wears three incghes of foundation on her face because her face looks like fucking arethra franklin's cottage thigs.

Sonic Youth 37 07.13.2009 11:58 AM

GeneticKiss 07.13.2009 12:22 PM

I was young...but I actually kind of regret getting rid of this one in the midsts of my "everything that's popular sucks" phase...

Rob Instigator 07.13.2009 12:26 PM

Money you've been given 'count', I guess.
Or does stolen money 'only', counts?

I was in the fourth grade.. but I had already had a few cassettes which people had bought or given to me since around the first grade. I was like the only motherfucker out on the elementary school playground who was not listening to teenybop-pop nonsense..

this was my first adventure into the lifelong passion of music collecting :)

good time..

For a short time, yes...

Anyone for Doomsday? was a pretty highly anticipated album in many quarters.

Then Spider One (frontman) stopped it from being released, half the band quit, the fanbase dwindled to almost nothing, and they released Transform, which, from what I can tell after hearing a few songs, is the work of a cartoonish band desperately trying to reinvent themselves as something "serious".

Excellent. Which Casino?

floatingslowly 07.13.2009 07:09 PM

it's not really a casino, so much as a ranch.

I guess people do come to play the slots though.

Yeah I ended up getting Raising Hell too. It was a brief fling with that band though. I sometimes think I should dig those albums out and give them a listen but I haven't gotten around to it.
