There was quite the commotion where I was, about 30 feet from the stage ever so slightly left of center. I really thought they wailed !

If "Cross the Breeze" from that show isn't the best single performance of a
song I've seen at an SY show, it's close.

Nice to hear of the prospect of a live DVD. I brought a mate of mine to the show in Vicar Street and he was amazed by the live sound claiming he thought they were better live than on record. that could be debated all night but I would love a well put together live album. it's amazing they don't have one.

i don't thnk it's likely he'll return as a member, but it would be really cool if he at least produced the album or helped out on tour.

i'm really psyched for their plans. and this live dvd is going to be insane

Hmmmmm....Jimmy O, god bless him.....I feel that his timing was great. And by that I mean his entrance into Sonic Youth, as well as his exit. Sonic Youth are not worse off without Jim.
