Yeah, I think they'll be alright without Jarboe. And that's just Gira's home demo, so I'm sure it'll sound a lot different later. I'm curious if the album will be more like early or later Swans.

It's been 2 years since the last Boris album, so we may expect a new one for 2010. Also, it seems that Neurosis will hit the studio sometime during the first half of the year. And there's a new Melvins confirmed, too. Looking forward to a lot of great new releases.

new xiu is pretty good. better than women as lovers but then again so was everything released since!

I still think Women As Lovers was kinda underrated. Yeah, it's pretty much their weakest album, but there's some good stuff on there. It works a lot better if you resequence it so the second side isn't so stuffed with slow songs.

Autechre is pretty hit or miss to me. Not that I don't think they're talented. It's just some records hit me and others dont.

I've recently read Suede have got back together, though for how long, I don't know. I do know they've lined up several gigs, so there's a slim chance they'll end up in a studio to record a session or two for a possible future album.
