Pretty sunny here in sunny South Wales....yesterday was nice during the day as well. The rains are a-comin' though...I can feel it in me bones. (and it said so on the weather report)

You can't tell wether it's evening or morning here.Very, very grey.

Hip Priest 11.28.2006 07:03 AM

Birkenhead surprisingly bright and mild for the time of year. Slight north westerly breeze, rain expected later.

Jico 11.28.2006 07:13 AM

i'm here working on a school project about global warming.

rain increases are a direct consequence from pollution.

You need to check this out, then nail down anything that's not already nailed down.

Iain 11.28.2006 07:19 AM

Tornado? In Cardiff? Pfff...believe it when I see it!

Hip Priest 11.28.2006 07:23 AM

It's already hit part of Wales, overnight: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/6190372.stm

k-krack 11.28.2006 09:01 AM

It's terrible here. School was cancelled, it's cold as hell.

Where is "here"?

Danny Himself 11.28.2006 10:42 AM

When did this thread get bumped..?

sonicl 11.28.2006 10:44 AM

This morning, about 9:12 am

Has Liverpool not been blown away yet?

Danny Himself 11.28.2006 10:45 AM

Nope.

gmku 11.28.2006 12:13 PM

Nov. 28, Iowa, and people are walking around outside in short sleeves. It's the GMW syndrome - Global motherfucking warming.

Of course, by Friday, it's supposed to be down in the single digits, so who knows.

king_buzzo 11.28.2006 12:15 PM

hot?

its fucking cold here

Hip Priest 06.10.2007 11:37 AM

I have an unpleasant feeling that it will soon going to be just as hot as last summer.

Time to wheel out all the old complaints and give them a good dusting down. They'll be needed soon.

!@#$%! 06.10.2007 11:38 AM

i have 68F right now, it will go up to 85 later today, but it's DRY heat so it's not so bothersome. not bothersome at all. and i shall hang my hammock.

demonrail666 06.10.2007 11:38 AM

I'm not looking forward to another heatwave in London. No siree.

Sheriff Rhys Chatham 06.10.2007 11:43 AM

I love it.
I never used to go outside much so it sucked.
But I love the sun. I don't care how hot it is as long as it doesn't rain.

do you guys get a sulfur dioxide cloud with high ozone levels & shit like that?

demonrail666 06.10.2007 11:46 AM

I don't know what goes on scientifically, but being so built up, London becomes a total sweatbox. Public transport becomes unbearably hot. All very humid and sticky. In a word, horrible.

I fully intend to spend the summer sitting in front of a fan, listening to Sigur Ros.

screamingskull 06.10.2007 12:07 PM

was horribly hot today at work, it's my last day though, i quit my part time before the summer very year. I refuse to work in heat like that.

pantophobia 06.10.2007 12:45 PM

got near 100F on friday here, quite nice now that the rain has come through, but it was like an oven friday

the ikara cult 06.10.2007 01:03 PM

I love a bit of heat. Barbecue weather.

Sounds like a good excuse for a few of these:

Danny Himself 06.10.2007 01:10 PM

This thread is back from the dead!

Today was pleasantly sweltering. I went to the park with my gay uncles and played football.

man i should have, have a case of coors light in the fridge, and considering last year, i think it's gonna be common to see 100F and up days by August

last year when Sleater-Kinney were gonna play their last DC show, it was over 100, and they had to postpone the show cause the transformer blew, but they played a nice long set 2 days later

Everyneurotic 06.10.2007 01:56 PM

i don't mind hot days that much, but hot nights are another thing entirely; i hate to not be able to sleep because of the heat.

last week at the beginning was really hot but it started to rain around thursday so it's cooling out, especially at night.

Пятхъдесят Шест 06.10.2007 02:08 PM

I'm not ready for the summer, I need to move somewhere with a climate that doesn't have ridiculously hot and humid summers.

It rained for about an hour today and things cooled off, then the sun came out, and now the temperature has risen to an unseasonal high.

I hate summer.

Spain is pushing 45, but it's a dryer heat. so you just feel like you're under a grill, rather than in a low cooker.
