pardom my ignorance but how am i trying to be lester bangs? it's just the way i feel about that album and i find it increasingly weird that it's almost unanimously referred to as the high point of sy's career, considering that we're talking about a band with a career of 25 years with each of their albums sounding pretty much different from one another, i find it very suspicious and one dimentional. i hate herd mentality.
