Well, the Smiths are a Christian family, so I gave Megan a saint wallet from Mexico, which is a miniature shrine that folds out/snaps shut, and inside there are are miniature pictures of Jesus and Mary, a miniature Rosary, and some prayers in Spanish. She was delightful to talk to. I told her how I loved her backing vocals on Sufjan Stevens' "Michigan."

Riverstreet is just a bunch of doors for toursits to walk in and walk out with less money in their pockets. Plus restaurants with no proper vegetarian food, and one gay bar. Would you go to River Street if you lived in Savannah?

I also played Melvins' Ozma and The Mekons' Rock and Roll LPs. Taped 'em. That Mekons album is gorgeous. But it's also the only Mekons release I like.

I am going to the pub and then going out for a meal at a Kurdish restaurant with some friends plus, possibly, a bunch of acquaintances because my friend Dan has invited a bunch of people (as he is inclined to) who may, or may not, join us.

My weeknight routine: drink beer, make dinner, take care of/romp with doggies, watch telly, converse/relate with wife & son, listen to music, go to bed. I'm boring. But I like me that way.

i'm going to the doctor this evening, then round to my mum's for dinner.

going to my friends house to watch a film and then maybe play some music.
