Stayed up till 7:00 am at my friend's house last night, wich meant that i got up late afternoon and now i can't sleep even though i still feel crap.I hadn't drunk vodka in a long time.

Toilet & Bowels 09.02.2006 11:40 PM

Fuga No.2 is one of my favourite Os Mutantes songs.

i've got into the habit of going to bed at 6am for the last couple of weeks for lack of anything better to do.

HaydenAsche 09.02.2006 11:47 PM

What time is it over there?

porkmarras 09.02.2006 11:48 PM

I love that song.I used to stay up till very late when i didnt have to go to work early in the morning. Now i do it only on the weekends.I've had a really good time last night. As my friend lives in Picadilly Circus opposite the Picadilly Theatre,we leaned on the window sill waiting for Patrick Swayze to come out after the show this afternoon(he's in a play there at the moment) and started shouting obscene things to annoy the middle aged ladies who made up the majority of the people waiting outside for him.

porkmarras 09.02.2006 11:48 PM

It's 5:44 am Hayden.

HaydenAsche 09.02.2006 11:51 PM

Dang. It is only 11:46 here. I think I'm going out for a smoke in a minute.

porkmarras 09.02.2006 11:59 PM

Porky is my youtube hero.
So cool to see Current 93 with Ben Chasny and Will Oldham in that church!
Linked to live Blood Axis vids from there too; most excellent.

porkmarras 09.03.2006 01:20 PM

Thanks Clone.I've tried to youtube Salamander as well but i couldnt find anything. The idea (and as i've already posted on the 'Waht are you listening to' thread') came from listening to the Serotonin Ronin compilation where i've first heard your music.I believe i'm in possesion of a pretty rare record judging by what i've read on the Camera Obscura website.

Savage Clone 09.03.2006 01:24 PM

I hope to god there is no Salamander on YouTube. We barely play shows, and have little stage presence...
That comp is pretty rare/old now. One of those compilations contains the only listenable track by an otherwise completely abysmal band I had going in 1996 called Dorothy Flight Pattern. A year and a half, recording every session we played together yielded only 6 minutes of halfway decent material. The horror...

porkmarras 09.03.2006 01:28 PM

The sleeve is amazing.I didnt know any of the bands or the record label and i've bought purely for that beautiful sleeve. The fact that the music turned out to be that good(mostly) was almost a bonus.

porkmarras 09.03.2006 01:30 PM

Bring them on!

Savage Clone 09.03.2006 01:32 PM

My friend Timothy Renner/Revelator (of Stone Breath, Breathe Stone, Moth Masque, Black Happy Day, The Spectral Light & Moonshine Firefly Snakeoil Jamboree, Mounring Cloak, etc etc etc) drew that sleeve design, as well as the one for the second volume of the series and the final Skye Klad album. He is an incredible artist; I am most honored to have a few originals of his in my home. He is as true to himself as anyone can be, be it as a visual artist, musician or label proprietor. A great talent there.

porkmarras 09.03.2006 01:37 PM

Awesome!

porkmarras 09.03.2006 01:42 PM

May you live forever Nefeli. The Xenasis/Varese video has all the visual elements that i ask for in life and it's a pity that the Charlemagne Palestine one cuts so short.Damn it!

Oh yes. I am on an email list with the guy who runs that site, not to mention I think I have all those pieces in one form or another here at home. The Unbroken Circle is a pretty great resource in general.
