it reminds me of my aunt (who is, by all definitions, a fucking moron) because she used to subject me to shit music like that as a child. complete opposite of my mother. things like this i don't really care to remember.

Yeah, unfortunately it somehow makes its way into the CD well for our long car trips. I endure by staring at the white line and letting my mind wander to its safe place.

good thing i've mastered the art of spacing the fuck out.

gmku 12.05.2006 01:52 AM

Well, here's some shit you'd have to space out to if you were in our car:

Sheryl Crow. I kid you not.

Nancy Griffith.

NRBQ.

My wife is a hopeless case. She used to play Revolution #9 and Plastic Ono Band when we dated. I think it was all a ruse.

^I'm sorry to hear that, man.

We do have some common ground with the Man in Black, however. Folsom Prison Blues is always a good one for the road.

It makes for some damn long car trips. Once in a while I get to slip in some Stones. Cash, too.

krastian 12.05.2006 02:02 AM

Can't go wrong with that.

Lucinda Williams. I actually like her quite a bit, even though she's not on my heavy rotation list ever.
