I work in real estate and my office was set to do a split closing on a house (we were representing the buyers and they were representing the sellers), but the other company suddenly doesn't want to split it any more and wants the whole deal to themselves.

My office manager doesn't want to cause a problem so he dropped the deal and we lost out on a bit of money.
